I absolutely adore children. I believe if you can help a child to believe in him/herself you will make a difference in his/her life forever. Imagine such a world!

I believe in helping children. I believe in play. I believe in stories and I believe in creativity. I believe in positive parenting.  I have a myriad of experiences.  I am a mother of two beautiful, busy girls.  I have helped children deal with different types of trauma through play therapy.  I have helped children with low self-esteem, problematic relationships and poor social skills. I have worked with a lot of children with learning difficulties, special needs and sensory issues.  I have helped children adjust to a new school, through a move, divorce, with bullying, with an illness.  I am passionate about children of all ages, and helping them to create a better life for themselves. 

I received my BEdPsych honors degree at Stellenbosch University in 2007, and my MA Psych at Potchefstroom University in 2012. I registered at HPCSA under Independent Practice/Private Practice in 2007 and have been practicing play therapy and learning support since then.
